about

This unique Cd is the result of a fruitful and inspiring friendship between a musician and a poet singer song writer. Both sharing a life long love and passion for Irish traditional music and poetry, coupled with a desire to pass this passion on to you, dear listener. We sincerely hope that this Cd will ignite and nourish your interest in Irish music and poetry. A medium handed down from the old tradition, that is as relevant today as it was hundreds of years ago. Depicting a Celtic based social structure intact and alive with music and stories that generated from the folk tradition into the ever popular medium that it is today.
We would like to extend a special word of gratitude to our most valued guest musicians. Especially to David Munnelly, button accordeon virtuoso, for his outstanding contribution. Also to Philip Masure our Flemish friend and guitar master who also did some recording work in his studio. We also thank Zara Roberts (harp) and Rob Bitter (piano keyboard) for their unique contribution. Lastly, our deep gratitude to Johnny Coppin (BBC presenter and singer song writer) for his inspiring words of support during the making of this Cd.
